Patch Flip: GForce Software OB-1

US Its a bit of a monster      02/08/24

After listening to a couple of patches of the newly released OB-1 Synth from GForce Software we felt compelled to make a video. Known for their high-quality plug-ins, GForce Software has recreated the 1978 OB-1 monosynth in collaboration with Oberheim. Despite being overshadowed by its contemporaries like the Minimoog, the OB-1 stood out for its programmable features and unique sound possibilities.

This patch flip delves into various patches and sound capabilities, highlighting features such as the radical high-pass filter and the addition of LFO assignments to parameters. The OB-1 is available at an introductory price of $49.99, excluding VAT, which offers great value considering its depth and character.

It feels like it could be a classic
