At Superbooth 2024, Kurt from Austrian Audio showcased their latest products to the Sonic State team, including the OC818 flagship microphone. This professional true large condenser microphone features a unique ceramic capsule handmade in Vienna. The OC818 has switchable polar patterns, but what sets it apart is the ability to record the back side of the capsule via a breakout cable. This allows for post-production manipulation of polar patterns frequency-dependently, offering a new level of versatility in recording.

In addition to the OC818, Austrian Audio also presented the MiCreator Studio, a portable studio solution aimed at content creators and musicians. This device functions as a stereo audio interface with a condenser electret microphone, allowing for quick and easy recording with an iOS or Android device.
