We caught up with Manuel from OXI Instruments at Machina Bristronica 2023, where he showcased the OXI One, a versatile and powerful sequencer designed for both modular and MIDI setups. OXI One is a four-in-one sequencer that offers various modes, including mono, poly, chord generation, multitrack, stochastic, and more. The standout feature is the multitrack mode, where you can have up to eight independent tracks with separate MIDI channels, lengths, and speeds. What's even more impressive is the upcoming firmware update, version 4.0, which promises significant enhancements, including a modulation matrix for controlling various parameters. The OXI One also integrates seamlessly with modular setups, offering CV control for a comprehensive sonic experience. Additionally, Manuel introduced the OXI Instruments' Coral, a polyphonic module that pairs perfectly with the OXI One, offering a wide range of sound engines, including wavetable, sample playback, virtual analog, and more.
