We met up with Morgan from Worng Electronics who told us about their new module, the Acronym Oscillator. This triangle core analog VCO features a low distortion sine output, triangle output, two sub oscillators, and a unique falling square output, providing a range of character and sound options. The module also includes a wave output that morphs between triangle, square, saw, and folded zone, along with three zero-phase modulation, a sync input, and eight octave tracking. Morgan also mentioned the benefits of through-zero phase modulation, which allows for more tuneful FM and keeps the oscillator in tune.
Worng Electronics also has other modules available, including the Mid Side Plus, The Parallax, Vertex, and the Vector Space, with more Sound Stages in production. The Acronym Oscillator is currently available for purchase at a price of $400 USD.
