Superbooth 2023: Rodec - MX Modular Mixer

We spoke to Tom from Rodec about their latest production-ready prototype, the MX Modular mixer. Rodec was a famous DJ mixer brand in the 80s and 90s and is now being rebooted as a hybrid mixer combining inspiration from the original DJ mixers and developing it into a fully pro audio device. The 500 series rack allows users to choose their own preamps, and includes Rodec's m501, a dual transformer and a dual discrete op-amp preamp. The mixer is ideal for a hybrid setup such as a DJ that brings a drum computer to a gig or an electronic live band that wants to use serious preamps while gigging. The mixer is designed for live performances, and its programmable mute switches make it an excellent analog device to use on stage.
