Rhodes Release V8: First Ever Software Instrument

US Soundtrack a short film to win the real deal      19/01/23

Rhodes have just announced their first ever software instrument - the V8. It's available on a 45 day free trial and opens the door to soundtrack a film to with a Rhodes MK8 Piano and V8 Pro Edition. Rhodes will give the five most impressive submissions to our 'Missing Keys' judges – Multi-Grammy Award-Winning artist and producer James Blake and Mercury Award Nominated band Yard Act's James Smith. A pro version of the sofware instrument will follow. More info here: 

Rhodes is proud to unveil the first virtual instrument to carry its name: The 'Rhodes V8' - and is offering you the chance to get to know this deeply multi-sampled version of the acclaimed MK8 Electric Piano during a 45-day free trial.

To mark the 'V8' release, Rhodes has made a new short film entitled 'Missing Keys' featuring James Smith of the Mercury Prize nominated band, Yard Act - and we want YOU to submit a track to soundtrack it, utilising the new Rhodes V8 plugin. 

The winning track, judged by James Blake and Yard Act's James Smith, will remain on the film as the final soundtrack.
