Two Free Omnisphere Patches For Halloween

ILIO and sound designer MIDIhead have announced two new bonus patches for the ILIO Patch Sampler for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.  The ILIO Patch sampler contains a selection of 33 patches from each of the available ILIO Patch Collections, and it will include these bonus new patches for Halloween only through October 31, 2022. ILIO tells us that the bonus Halloween patches, created from NASA's eerie sonification of a black hole, have been morphed into one cinematic BPM and one SFX riser, utilizing the powerful synthesis capabilities of Omnisphere. A spokesperson said, "These patches are perfect for Dance, Electronic, Film and Cinematic applications."

The ILIO Patch Sampler for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 loads quickly and easily into Omnisphere 2.8 or higher. Each sound is optimized for use with your modulation wheel for real-time control on stage or in the studio. Requires Omnisphere version 2.8 or higher.

About the Sound Designer

Michael (MIDIhead) Babbitt is an electronic music producer, songwriter/vocalist, and sound designer who has had original scores in movie trailers for The Matrix Reloaded, Silent Hill, and Mad Max-Fury Road, as well as a variety of television shows such as Dexter, CSI, Prison Break, MythBusters, Miami Ink, America's Next Top Model (to name a few) and many remixes and original songs appearing in Konami's Dance, Dance, Revolution video game series. He's also produced all of ILIO's Omnisphere patch libraries.
