The Music Theory Iceberg

US Popular meme gets the David Bennett treatment      23/06/22

The Iceberg meme is one which applies to all sorts of subjects; showing the common and well known elements of a subject at the top and going into progressively deeper territory within the subject as we get to the depths of the iceberg. David Bennets knowledge of music theory is expansive, so who better to explore the subject and demonstrate it in this form?

Starting off on common scales and tempos, and entering the depths of modes, double flats, overtones, poly meters, swing, atonality and beyond - it's a literal deep dive into all you need to know to explore musical theory. Check out Davids youtube channel for more videos on a variety of musical subjects.

Is there anything you think he missed?
