17th-Century Italian Spinet Sampled

US Soundiron releases Bentside Spinet for Kontakt      11/10/21

Soundiron has introduced Bentside Spinet, A 17th-century Italian keyboard that they say produces a dark and quiet tone with an aesthetically stunning look resembling a harp laid horizontally. They tell us that the spinet has a rich and sustained timbre, but darker and less brilliant that the harpsichord.

A spokesperson told us, "We recorded Bentside Spinet in stereo with close and far mic positions and 8 round robin. Then we rounded out the natural tone of this baroque keyboard with 20 ambient soundscapes and 25 custom FX presets to launch your musical time machine right into a European parlor."

Bentside Spinet is built for the full retail version of Kontakt 5.5 or later.
