US Eclectic Method serves up the samples      02/08/21

Sampling is one of the core concepts behind making music, for many being an easy introduction into experimenting with sounds for the first time. VJ and video remixer Eclectic Method has made this video showing original samples played alongside the tracks they influenced, with music videos in tow. 

It's interesting to see how each track used a single sample, and shows the scope of a project using samples can go in many directions. WhoSampled is a great resource for finding more samples in your favourite tracks. Here's a great video on te samples used in Daft Punk's Discovery:
