Terry Riley Interview

US In depth conversation recorded in 2005      27/07/21

Terry Riley is one of the pioneers of minimalist composition, with his 1960s 'In C' and 'A Rainbow In Curved Air' being notable landmark compositions. In 2005, Henry Kaiser (an eminent experimental guitarist in his own right) interviewed Terry Riley for a DVD release which never happened, as bonus material for the disc.

Their interview was finally released in 2020 with Terry's permission, where they discuss how he performs and how he's developed his musical techniques in addition to many other things. Terry was also interviewed by the Red Bull Music Academy in 2018
