New MicroMod Teensy Released

Product collaboration between PJRC & Sparkfun.      02/07/21

We recently covered some applications of the amazing Teensy board in our article on Hardware Synth Modifications. Teensys have a variety of applications for audio and data processing with a wealth of resources online for many musical projects. Just in time for the weekend, we got news of a brand new Teensy board - a collaboration between Teensy's PJRC and Sparkfun

Teensy guru Paul Stoffregen explains: "MicroMod Teensy has essentially the specs of Teensy 4.0 (eg, 600 MHz M7) but with larger flash memory. It will be fully supported by the Teensyduino add-on to the Arduino IDE".

The SparkFun MicroMod Teensy Processor Board leverages the awesome computing power of the NXP iMXRT1062 chip and pairs it with the M.2 MicroMod connector to allow you to plug it into your choice of compatible MicroMod Carrier Board. With the M.2 MicroMod connector, connecting your Teensy Processor is a breeze.
