Samples From Mars Remix Competition and Free Samples

US Kawaii Dreams features the K3 ,K1 and GB-2      29/05/21

Samples From Mars have launched a competition to make a track using Kawaii Dreams - a free sample pack featuring the  K3 (1986), K1 (1988), and GB-2 A.K.A. Session Trainer (1991). The free pack consists of 928 samples weighing in at 1.73GB unzipped. They explain: "These wavetable synths have an inherent harmonic distortion from the era's conversion technology that give them a ton of character not possible from analog oscillators"..

The Competition

Last year we ran a competition to see who could produce the best track with our MPC Snacks From Mars drum pack. We were not only blown away by the quality of the submissions but by the sense of community the contest instilled. So, a year later, it's time for another contest - but this time with a free synth pack!

How to Enter:

  • Compose an original track using the Kawaii Dreams From Mars for all your non-drum sounds.
  • Upload your submission to Soundcloud using the hashtag #kawaiidreamsfrommars and #samplesfrommars
  • 3 winners, will receive $500, $250, and $100 giftcards to Reverb.com

More details on the competition and the free pack are available here: https://samplesfrommars.com/products/kawaii-dreams-from-mars
