Yesterday the Modular World Anniversary Show streamed live over youtube with 130 performers from 24 countries coming together for a historic live stream - with artists from the US, UK, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Canada, Japan, Turkey, Finland and more.
Modular world organiser Johno Wells explains the ethos behind the event:
"Our world is filled with talented synthesists in their own local scenes, or perhaps in an area without any scene or way to perform and be recognized. Before Modular World, we operated either alone, or only in our own scene bubble. This wasn't good enough for me. Making *real* connections with artists worldwide, building the first global modular synth community, and bringing musicians to one global stage to create this online event has become a serious passion for me."
If you missed the show, the entire stream is now online with part one above, followed by parts two and three. It's an incredible event to coordinate and put together, so donate to their patreon if you can. www.patreon.com/modularworld
