Abbey Road Celebrate Womens Day With FREE Virtual Festival


Abbey road has announced a week long virtual festival to celebrate women's day and highlight the fact that only 5% of music producers and engineers are women. Running from March 1-8 the programme pledges to provide the tools, knowledge and support to inspire and empower more women to join the industry.

The sessions on offer include:

  • Music production masterclass
  • Becoming a recording and mixing engineer
  • The path to production
  • Music for film masterclass
  • Becoming an artist
  • Getting started ion the music industry

 

Among those taking part are Abbie McCarthy, Baby Queen, Charlie Deakin-Davies, Cloves, Cosha, Dani Bennet Spragg, Fiona Cruickshank, Georgia, Hamzaa, Hannah V, Homay Schmitz, Kali Claire, Marta Di Nozzi, Shura and many more.
