FIVE MINUTES WITH: Roland Promars

US With Chris from Battery Operated Orchestra      05/02/21

Chris from Battery Operated Orchestra (BOO)  have some lovely instruments and he kindly recorded this session to give us all a flavour of what the Promars can sound like - which as it happens is pretty tasty.

The Roland Promars is one of the Compuphonic range of instruments that has some basic computer control - eg patch memory (10 user, 10 preset).

Its very similar to the Jupiter 4 and has often been considered a monophonic version of that.
However it has 2 VCOs compared to the JP's 1 Chris takes us through some of its unique sonic capabilities.
