midierror has made a Keyboard CC generator, A4X Mode, inspired by Aphex Mode on the Bass Station 2. It features four MIDI CCs sent from each note with options to change values instantly or slide between them (1-5000ms). It works with mono and polyphonic inputs. Here's the full details direct from midierror....
A4X Mode is a fusion of MIDI Notes and Control Changes which will turn note playback into an exploration and expansion of your synth capabilties.
Assign up to 4 CCs to a range of up to 64 MIDI notes. Set minmum and maximum values for each one and have instant or sliding changes between values - set from 1-5000ms). Randomly generate assignments and monitor the output in the central panel.
A4X Mode works with mono and polyphonic playback, with the last triggered note sending its values.
A4X Mode is inspired by but significantly different from the AFX mode developed into the Novation Bass Station 2. This product is not affiliated with either Novation or Aphex Twin/Richard D James.
