Makenoise Strega - New Instrument With Alessandro Cortini

Lots of teasers around this collaboration between Nine Inch Nail's Alessandro Cortini and Tony Rolando of Make Noise - it was premiered yesterday on Youtube - we shot an interview with Alessandro ready for today, and they decided to go with it last thing yesterday - all good fun!

The Strega (Italian for witch) is a single complex oscillator and a karaoke 3 tap  filtered delay with a tunable delay time allowing for extreme underclocking and filtering. As well as patching points for routing and external integrations with CV gear, it features touch pads for physical patch points as well, making it a more immediate performative instrument.

The collaboration, saw Makenoise create an instrument which fitted Alessandro's creative aesthetic - he's very pleased with the results, and indeed his demo was very "Cortini" like, if there's such a thing.

The Strega is housed in the 0-Coast style case - we think it can be Eurorack mounted with the use of a special adapter cable.
Strega will be available towards the end of February priced at $599.
