NAMM 2021: Softube Weiss EQ1 MP Precision Phase EQ

The Weiss EQ1 hardware is some seriously high end Swiss engineering and the Softube EQ1 MP takes the DSP code port - literally a 1:1 line by line conversion of the £6.5K hardware unit into plug-in format. Its also a more DSP friendly version than the full EQ1 plug-in and therefore is designed to be used in multiple instances where a surgical linear phase eq is required.

We hooked up with Todd from Softube in New Jersey for a look at the plug-in.
