RØDE Launches Four New Mic Accessories

US DCS-1, SC10, SC11 and SC16 for the Wireless GO and VideoMic range      26/08/20

RØDE Microphones has announced four new accessories for the Wireless GO and VideoMic range – the DCS-1, SC10, SC11, and SC16. A spokesperson told us, "These handy new products further expand the capabilities of the Wireless GO and RØDE VideoMics, making them must-have accessories for every content creator."

This is what RØDE has to say about them...

DCS-1 Dual Cold Shoe Mount and SC11 Y-Splitter Cable
The DCS-1 is a dual cold shoe mount for mounting two microphones or cold shoe accessories onto a device with a single cold shoe. Constructed from lightweight aluminium, it's sturdy and discreet and is compatible with all RØDE products with a cold shoe adaptor.

The SC11 is a high-quality TRS Y-splitter cable for connecting two mono 3.5mm outputs to a single stereo 3.5mm input. It's particularly suitable for connecting two microphones to a single DSLR-style camera, for example, dual Wireless GO receivers, or a wireless receiver and a VideoMic.

Together, the DCS-1 and SC11 provide the perfect solution for plugging two microphones into a single recording device, allowing users to keep their rig neat and streamlined while unlocking a range of creative possibilities for filmmakers, vloggers, reporters, journalists, and content creators.

SC10 – TRRS to TRRS Cable
The SC10 is a high-quality 3.5mm TRRS to TRRS cable designed to connect on-camera microphones to DSLR-style cameras or mobile devices. It features an ultra-flexible cable segment for optimal shock mount performance, coupled to a reinforced cable segment for routing around the camera. This is the same cable that comes with the RØDE VideoMic NTG and is now sold separately.

SC16 – USB-C to USB-C Cable
The SC16 is a high-quality USB-C to USB-C cable designed to connect RØDE microphones with a USB-C output to USB-C devices. Featuring an in-built cable grip that is compatible with the VideoMic NTG shock mount cable management system, it's ideal for connecting the VideoMic NTG to Android devices.

These new releases follow a string of new accessories for the RØDECaster Pro and Wireless GO announced earlier in the year, including the Interview GO and MagClip GO, developed in response to user feedback and requests.

Joining an extensive range of accessories for RØDE's industry-leading microphones, the DCS-1, SC11, SC10 and SC16 are designed to provide high-quality solutions to a variety of different use cases for content creators.
