In response to world events and rising from the ashes of isolation, some of the UK's best touring personnel have created an easy-to-access technical helpline for musicians and music tech users everywhere. It's called MuSOS, a 'Musicians SOS', and the website is active now.
MuSOS's creators told us, "We really think this can save time for tech users and musicians everywhere and bypass the need for tedious online searches for 'how to' videos, plus using the service will help some of the music industry's personnel stay working in these tough times, as live shows have all but ceased and live events are put on hold for the foreseeable future."
Here's the full details in their own words...
MuSOS provides bespoke 1:1 technical advice with exclusive access to professional trouble shooters and problem researchers, musicians can stay in the creative headspace, while the MuSOS 'hive' solves the problem. From studio niggles and software dead ends to session stoppers, gone are the days of internet trawling for buried info.
Users simply land on the website and request a call back and MuSOS's pool of talented engineers, programmers and techs can respond and advise directly. There are a wide variety of subjects covered including DAW's, Synthesisers, Programming, MIDI and Audio Technology plus Live Streaming and Equipment Servicing to name but a few, and the list is ever growing as more connected hive experts access MuSOS.
We welcome you to try the service out at www.musos.tech or feel free to contact us at at hub@musos.tech for more info. It's discreet, and 100% affordable to all, it operates on a 'pay what you can' donation model whilst in beta.
