Stutter Edit 2 Will Melt Your Brain

We knew something was on the way and we should have guessed really, but BT was a guest on last week's Sonic TALK where he told us that something big was coming and today is the day that Stutter Edit 2 is out.

We had a first look:

2 years in the making and following on from BT's collaboration with iZotope for the original Stutter Edit, Stutter Edit 2 takes things to a new level. Keeping the MIDI playable effects for dynamic application of complex effects from MIDI triggers on individual tracks, busses and even the entire mix.

A brief whats new:

• New, higher resolution stutter effects
• Time Variant Modifiers for each parameter
• Auto mode for auditioning gestures
• New effects: Comb and Chorus, Flanger and Phaser, Tapestop, Delay, Distort, Reverb (change order)
• Palindrome back and forth for each gesture
• Freeze function
• Global Filter
• Visual representation of stutter settings
• Colour Limiter on output
