Help Design Aston's New Element Mic

US Voting system helps create the People's Mic      17/06/20

Aston Microphones have only been going 4 years and they've already been nomiated for 3 NAMM TEC awards (won this year) as well as getting our NAMM 2019 Best Pro Audio Award for the Stealth Mic.

Aston ElementTheir new project is the Element Microphone, and has already been through the first part of their design phase - they have 600 professional users including   Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande Coldplay, Don Broco, Nothing but Thieves, The Royal Shakespeare Company, IDLES, Noel Gallagher, Kylie...

The first phase included lots of measurement and resulted in 45,000 data points, used to design their custom capsule, which now will be tweaked and voiced through the second part of the process where you get to listen and rate and hep to shape the final mic.

Elements Details
Element is a side-fire single pattern cardioid microphone, utilizing their own capsule technology.  The mic badge is translucent purple, backlit with an LED, such that when the mic receives 48v phantom power, the badge is lit up from behind and glows deep 'Aston' purple.
