ADAM Audio, Focusrite and Novation have launched a first-of-its-kind Finger Drumming competition in collaboration with Instagram influencer and drum curator Jimmy (@beatsbyjblack).
Producers are invited to show off their best Finger Drumming skills for a chance to win a huge beat production studio bundle worth over $1,500, including a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 Audio Interface, a pair of ADAM Audio SP-5 Headphones, a Launchpad Pro MK3 – Novation's most powerful 64-pad MIDI grid controller for producing – and a pair of ADAM Audio T8V Studio Monitors, the latest addition to the award-winning T Series studio monitor range.
To enter, participants first need to download the free Beatsbyjblack soundpack and upload it to their DAW or hardware. All MIDI pads, MPC's and keyboards with 16 pads are allowed. They must then record a Finger Drumming performance video and upload it to their preferred video streaming platform (entrants are encouraged to get creative with all 16 sounds in the kit provided, but no extra outside sounds are permitted).
Performances should not be pre-recorded, and instead should be kept fun and in real-time.
The contest will end on June 26 when the winner will be announced.
