Universal Audio (UA) has announced partnership with Real World Records for a remix contest featuring the track "Love" by West African musical collective, Les Amazones d'Afrique.
The competition runs through May 20th and top tracks will be selected by an expert panel, including producers Jacknife Lee (U2, The Killers, Snow Patrol), Che Pope (Kanye West, Dr. Dre, The Weekend), and top engineers from Peter Gabriel's famed Real World Studios. UA will provide prizes including Apollo x8, Apollo x4, and Apollo Twin X audio interfaces.
Bill Putnam Jr., founder and CEO of Universal Audio, told us, "We're thrilled to partner with Real World to inspire musicians to stay creative during these challenging times. Real World's reputation for audio craftsmanship closely aligns with our own heritage and mission. So it's an honor to work with both Real World and Les Amazones d'Afrique."
