One thing I've found doing these in recent weeks - the process of just playing and improvising really soothes the soul - temporarily perhaps but its still a pleasant oasis. I can thoroughly recommend you try it.

This time I have the old M-Audio Venom an undeniably digital machine from some time ago, and with a pretty unique and angry sound, though it can do mellow too. I paired this up with the Dreadbox Hypnosis - which is a lovely performance FX unit - see our review.
