Granular Cloud Reverb For Your Korg

US Sinevibes Albedo is a plugin for prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 synths      13/03/20

Sinevibes has released Albedo, a granular cloud reverb effect plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 synthesizers. They believe that this is technically the very first custom reverb plugin ever released on this platform, and it brings unique new possibilities for sound design and live performance.

Albedo continuously records audio into a buffer, and at the same time plays up to 16 separate grains from it – with each grain having its own randomized size and position within the buffer. Sinevibes says that, together with feedback and additional psychoacoustic stereo widening, this creates a lush “cloud of sound” reverb effect. Tey tell us that it is also possible to stop overwriting the buffer and thus “freeze” this cloud, allowing to overlay another sound as the granular cloud keeps playing indefinitely.

Pricing and Availability:
Albedo is immediately available for $19. The plugin comes in three formats for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 synthesizers, and has been fully tested on all these devices.
