Friday Fun: Novation Mini Nova And Modal Electronics Skulpt

US Its Friday!      06/03/20
    MP4 6:18 mins

Another in our occasional Friday Fun Synth Jams series - designed to encourage a bit of creative improvisation for the weekend.

This time we fire up the long ignored Novation MiniNova - which we reviewed back in 2012, which was an early DSP based synth with 18 voices featuring the same synth engine as the UltraNova.

We add the Modal Electronics Skulpt to that - this one doesn't have the recently announced firmware update.

We reviewed both of these instruments here - MiniNova  (complete with dodgy end edit) and here Skulpt

Enjoy
