Spitfire are a company who are doing their utmost to encourage more women into the industry, goodness knows its a very low percentage as it stands.
But its not only about active percentages, its also a matter of creating an environment that encourages participation. Currently, that's not really happening in enough numbers to create change.
With that in mind TECH DISSECT is an event for womxn (also non-binary folks) based at Spitfire HQ in London on Saturday November 9th.
With guests and speakers to include:
Bishi, Emmavie, Fiona Cruickshank, Hannah Peel, Homay Schmitz, Isabel Garvey, Katie Tavini, Nainita Desai, Shy One - more tbc.
Novation, Spitfire, Moog and Native Instruments will also be there.
It sounds like a cool event, but before you head over, you should be aware that is by its nature limited to people who identify as female or non-binary.
So if you fancy going along, it sounds like a great event.
