Making Techno Using Artificial Intelligence

US Video demonstrates how you can incorporate AI into your music production workflow      01/07/19

Here's a tutorial video from YouTube producer Julien Earle that aims to show producers how they can collaborate with AI on their own tracks. A spokesperson for Julien told us, "Many artists and producers are hesitant to collaborate with artificial intelligence. There are a number of reasons for this, but one of the major barriers is that people can’t visualize how they would incorporate AI into their production workflow."

In the video, Julien creates a techno track using AI music app Amadeus Code to help inspire different aspects of the song. He then exports the MIDI files from the app to Ableton Live where he moulds the song with his own production techniques.
