Superbooth 2019: Softube Parallels and Buchla 296e

Polysynth and filterbank module      20/05/19

Softube showed us their new virtual instrument:  Parallels - its actually their first ever dedicated synth plug-in. Parallels is a 14 voice, subtractive dual engine wavetable synth.

With waveforms taken from a massive collection of rare and in some cases unreleased instruments.
Krisofer Ulfves took us through some of the sounds.
Available now priced at €149

We also got a look at the new Buchla 296e Spectral Processor module for Softube modular.
A recreation of one of the most complex and expensive of Buchla modules, the 296e offers high Q 16 band filter bank with spectral transfer (vocoding) and loads of other complex signal processing.

The 296e is an add on module for Softube's Modular software system and is officially licensed from Buchla themselves.  $149
