Friday Fun: Clavinet and Ventris Jam

US Arturia Analog Lab with Keylab MKII      22/02/19
    MP4 9:36 mins

Another in our occasional series - this time it was inspired by the sound of the classic Clavinet - a mechanical instrument that we recently discovered has become incredibly expensive - like £1.5- $3K!

The reason editor Nick was interested in that sound was because of its inclusion in the Arturia Analog Lab sounds library which comes with the Arturial KeyLab MKII (see our review). It just sounds great, like many electro-mechanical instruments.

That, simply combined with the Ventris Dual Reverb - a twin engine FX pedal with some lovely algorithms means a world of delightful sonic joy.

Incidentally, Nick has a 3 track EP (Lost Connection) which you can check out on Bandcamp.Lost Connection Nick Batt EP
