NAMM 2019: More Roland Cloud Instruments

Roland Cloud has added SRX WORLD and Drum Studio-Acoustic One to its expanding collection of cloud-based software synthesizers, drum machines, and sampled instruments. This is what they have to say...

Created in the spirit of Roland’s seminal hardware board with modern adaptability, SRX WORLD is packed with sounds from around the world. From didgeridoo to tabla, berimbau to sitar, SRX WORLD has the power to bring creative projects into focus with cinematic scope. Wherever music is being made, from Hong Kong to Finland, or anywhere else on the map, SRX WORLD puts global sounds at the fingertips of users worldwide.

With the release of Drum Studio-Acoustic One, Roland Cloud adds high-quality acoustic sampled drums featuring classic kits that come from a history of craftsmanship born in the deep south and Quebec. Users have individual control of six kicks, five snares, nine toms, and seven cymbals, all sampled with varied articulation and multiple microphone placements. Ten preset kits provide starting points in a variety of styles. Recorded at 24/96 resolution, these HRES (High-Resolution Extended Samples) feature RRS (Round Robin Sound) sample randomization. Roland Cloud’s Drum Studio-Acoustic One brings nuanced drum sounds to live and studio environments.
