Future Sound Systems' Finlay Shakespeare not only creates modules and hardware for his modular brand - he collaborated with Chris Carter for a Eurorack version of the Gristlizer, he's also a performer and songwriter using modular at the heart of his setup, currently supporting Blancmange on their Wanderlust Tour (selected dates)
You may have spotted Finlay when he was curator of the Moog Sound Lab - a large modular and Moog based synthesizer system that was installed in the UK for artists to come and utilize, creating tracks, sounds and riffs, and taking them away to finish off, and sometimes in situ. Finlay was looking after that system - some might say a dream job.
He's just released a video for the track Routine - which has a lot of energy - I bet he's great live.
