Mute Records have released Mute 4.0 Synth, a little board based analogue synth with additional wavetable and input processing.
This is (as far as we can tell) the 3rd Mute synth (not 4th?!?) to be released and will be available on 7th December.
As part of an going project in collaboration with Dirty Electronics, who's aim it is to "make music with wires and code", in keeping with Mutes' own fine heritage of experimental electronic music.
The synth can be expanded with a limited edition chip with extra mangled waveforms - details to follow.
In the absence of any other video or audio for the new synth, Here's Daniel Miller and John Richardson on the original Mute Synth:
Available 7th December priced at £89.
Thanks to Leigh Kemp for the lead.
