Superbooth 2018: ALM - Sampler, DCO and Multi-function Envelope

US The ALM line gets larger and wider with these additions      04/05/18

ALM/Busy Circuits is a UK based boutique electronics design company producing original, useful and fun devices for the creation, manipulation and control of sound.

Always coming up with interesting designs and concepts ALM have been pushing the eurorack market in new and interesting ways for a few years now. The first new thing that we looked at was the Sampler prototype which takes the approach of an old style sampler as opposed to the DAW way of sampling. With a trigger out from the sampler you can easily create new samples, you can also run it in a constant sampling mode which creates almost a multi-tap delay line...

We then took a look at the DCO which implements some almost Roland Alpha Juno type PWM sounds.

The Quaid Mega Slope is a 5 stage envelope that can function in a number of different ways.
