The BBC Are Offering 16,000+ Free Sound Effects

Are you constantly on the look out for sound effects samples? Or generally just needing some inspiration for your productions?

The BBC has launched the BBC Sound Effects Beta, a sound effects database with 16,016 classic BBC Archive sound effects and field recordings, from air raids to zebras. All of the effects are available in WAV format to download for use under the terms of the RemArc Licence. The Sound Effects are BBC copyright, but they may be used for personal, educational or research purposes, as detailed in the license.
