Novation had their own dedicated booth this year at NAMM and very pretty it was too. At its centre was the Launchpad XL, a custom installation featuring 64 Launchpads all running from a custom version of the Launchpad app.
Giles Orford told us it took the engineers only a matter of hours to create Launchpad Arcade - a custom app running on a laptop to create the software required to run the system. The session was running from a single launchpad controlling the displays of the other 64, with each individual launchpad able to be played as well.
Neat display and Novation have said that it greatly simplifies the process of creating custom Launchpad setups.
