Positive Grid has announced BIAS AMP 2, the first major update to their flagship virtual amp designer. They tell us that BIAS AMP 2 features a groundbreaking component emulation engine that allows users to design their own custom amp from the circuit level, swapping tubes, transformers, tone stacks and more to create a custom amplifier designed specifically for the individual needs of each guitarist.

Sean Halley, Director of Product Marketing, said, "BIAS AMP's revolutionary engine has the potential to remove the barrier between guitarists and their ideal tones. The major updates and new features we've added to BIAS AMP 2 offer a greater level of customization than has previously been possible in the world of digital guitar processing. The new features and updates in BIAS AMP 2 - including our partnership with Celestion - have all been developed with an eye on increased dynamics and touch sensitivity, and a more refined and complete tone-making experience."

BIAS AMP 2 features a completely redesigned user interface, new tubes and transformers, a new speaker cabinet module with multi-mic capability and open back/closed back emulation, new custom Celestion speaker cabs, new RTA eq, and a new updated Amp Match process designed to get better results in less time.

Pricing and Availability:
BIAS AMP 2 is available in three different pricing tiers: Standard ($99), Professional ($199), and Elite ($299). Upgrade pricing is available.
