Korg Introduces D1 Digital Piano

Buying Choices

Featuring a slimmer, compact body, the D1 is Korg's newest addition to their growing Digital Piano line. They say that the D1 is a top class digital piano that despite its fully-fledged weighted keybed, can be easily transported between gigs, studio sessions and practices.

Director of Technology Brands at Korg USA, James Sajeva, told us, "D1 is another great expansion to the Korg piano line, offering the utmost pristine and authentic sounds for aspiring pianists. Musicians looking for a piano equipped with quality and versatility will be incredibly pleased with the new D1."

Here's the details in Korg's own words...

Like its predecessors, the D1 features the Real Weighted Hammer Action (RH3) key bed deemed Korg's finest graded action. It contains an impressive total of 30 expressive sounds, which not only include classic piano sounds, but also electric piano, organ, clavi and a wide array of string sounds, perfectly covering a variety of genres.

After the creation of the B1 line in 2015, Korg has continued to build top-of-the-line pianos, designed to deliver exquisite sound. Followed by the B1, the G1 Air and C1 Air made their debut in 2017, becominga staple for pianists of all levels. Today, Korg continues to expand on their family of pianos with the launch of the D1.

The D1 will make its global debut at WNAMM 2018 from the Korg USA booth located in Hall B, #8802. A dedicated SC-D1soft case and ST-SV1 stand will be sold separately.
