New for the 2018 Winter NAMM Show, sE Electronics has announced the V7 BFG: a special chrome Signature Edition of sE's TEC-Award-nominated V7 dynamic microphone, created in partnership with Mr. Billy F. Gibbons - best known as the guitarist of ZZ Top. This is the story in their own words...

From Mr. Billy F. Gibbons: "The V7 in a word? Perfectamundo!" The V7 BFG is the signature vocal microphone for the one and only Billy F. Gibbons. Best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the legendary American rock band ZZ Top, Billy Gibbons consistently ranks as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. From sE: "This Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee and iconic blues-rock guitarist from Texas has been performing on the road for decades, and is still musically hyper-active with The Kings of Chaos, the BFG's and – last but definitely not least - ZZ Top!"

The V7 BFG is a dynamic vocal hand-held microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern, delivering "a crisp, open sound that perfectly captures your voice in the most natural way you've ever heard on stage." The sophisticated capsule design helps isolate the singer's voice from other instruments, ensuring vast amounts of gain before feedback, and its brand new, patented shock mount efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing the lowest handling noise in its class.

Featuring a special custom chrome finish & royal purple internal windscreen, the V7 BFG ships standard with a mic clip and thread adapter, leatherette pouch, microfiber polishing cloth, a V7 BFG sticker, two BFG Signature Jim Dunlop custom gel guitar picks, and a spare black internal windscreen.

Pricing and Availability:
The V7 BFG will be shown at the 2018 Winter NAMM show on booth #15903, and is now shipping worldwide with an MSRP of $149 USD / €139 EUR.
