Okay so its not Friday yet, but we're pushed for time what with the holidays and all, so here's another installment of our Friday Fun Thing.

We fired up the Studio Electronics Boomstar SE-80 - the dual oscillator desktop synth with the Yamaha CS-80 Low pas and resonant hi-pass filters, but this time we couple it with our very own Freeze Machines - these are a collection of Ableton Live instrument racks (6 in total), that have a massive, lush frozen reverb with five different flavours of instruments feeding in plus and FX only version.

You can build up huge, ambient chord sets and drones by adding more signal as you go. We've just released these in conjunction with Divkid - you can buy them right here.

You do need Ableton Live 9 Suite, or just Live 9 but with Analog, Operator and Electric add ons (Suite they're included.

But check out the SE-80 into the FX-Only Freeze Machine - and when that low harmoinic from the resonant hi-pass filter kicks in - watch your cones.
