To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Throbbing Gristle's 'Second Annual Report' Tiptop audio release the TG ONE, A special red, white & black edition of Tiptop's ONE sample playback module. Collaboration from the band and Mute records means the sound is tailor made to give you that gritty industrial sound Throbbing Gristle are known for.
By tweaking the original firmware of the ONE, The Tiptop team have created two new modes. Mode one allows random file selection on each of the trigger inputs, Mode two allows looping playback that randomly seeks through a sample with each trigger.
The TG ONE comes with two exclusive SD cards put together by TG's Chris Carter, Which feature "Modified and Mangled" samples from Original Throbbing gristle recording sessions.
  • Card 1 features 128 Percussive and audio samples.
  • Card 2 features 128 longer samples, Pads and loops.
TG cards are only available with the TG module.
TG legend Chris Carter had this to say:
"When Tiptop suggested this idea I was a little sceptical that it would be something people might want but once I started compiling the sounds I got excited about the potential and the possibilities – now I'm eager to hear how people will use this 'TG DNA' in their own music. I can't wait..."
