Another artist from the Cymru Beats modular meet at the weekend hosted by CymruBeats.com. Mylar Melodies performed an improvised techno set at around 8.30 on Saturday night.

We streamed all the artists live on the night, as well as interviewing each of them just after their respective sound checks.

We had a chat with Mylar Melodies (aka Alex) - the highly respected Modular reviewer and tutor who regularly posts highly entertaining and informative videos on his Youtube channel, about his setup and approach to the performance - its fully improvised - which requires nerves of steel! And by the way the Waldorf KB37 was fine.

During the actual performance, his Akemie's Castle module got accidentally routed wrong " I accidentally clicked the disting (which I use for clocked delay) off of 'Delay' mode onto a different one" , so required some quick thinking on his part.
