Celestion speakers have a pretty legendary place in the history of Rock - their drivers graced many of the genre-defining guitar rigs pretty much from the start, and if you know a guitar nerd, it's pretty likely you've probably heard them discussing the merits of the 'Greenback', for example ;-]

So it comes as no surprise that the famous versions have been subjected to various software recreations... some more authentic than others.
Celestion themselves decided that to set things straight they'd undertake the process of making their own Impulse Responses of their signature drivers - and that's what they've done. Several of the range are available now, with more to come - Ken Weller explains.
