AVB interfaces are starting proliferate - they provide ethernet transportation of up to 512 audio channels over regular network cables of up to 100m. Which is handy as current versions of OS X support it natively. MOTU were one of the first to incorporate it into their audio interfaces - many of the current models now support it.

At Musikmesse, they introduced three more variants:

  • M64 - MADI  to AVB (and back) with both optical and Coaxial connections. All can also be used as audio IO via the on board USB connection.
  • 8D - two AES, 2 S-PDIF
  • LP32 - four banks of ADAT IO
