We first reviewd the Cicuit when it came out, Novation's new groovebox was great fun and very promising, however, it had a few short comings. Since then, almost a year back, Novation have steadily added features and transofrmed the Circuit into something rather different.
New features include:
- Loading of user samples - 64 slots total 60secs (mono)
- Sample flipping during playback
- instans session and pattern switching - pick up the beat during playback
- Session Colouring
- External MIDI input
- External MIDI sequencing
- Poly rhythms on drums
- Web MIDI based backup and restore sets
- improvements to MIDI clocking
