BEHRINGER is expanding the company's family of professional-grade power amplifiers with the release of two new stereo models, the 1,700-Watt KM1700 and 750-Watt KM750. Both models feature BEHRINGER's proprietary ATR (Accelerated Transient Response) technology, which they say provides ultimate punch, unparalleled clarity and reduces overall weight.

BEHRINGER tells us that ATR technology merges massive power with high-tech efficiency, creating lightweight amplifiers designed to provide many, many years of ultra-dependable service – at a price point that ensures more Watts per dollar than competing models.

  • The KM1700 packs 1,700 Watts bridged; 2 x 800 @ 4 Ohms; 2 x 500 @ 8 Ohms into a 27.5 lbs/12.5 kg package
  • The KM750 provides 750 Watts bridged; 2 x 400 into 4 Ohms; 2 x 200 into 8 Ohms, and weighs only 18.7 lbs/8.5 kg.

A spokesperson said, "KM Series power amplifiers pack up to 1,700 Watts of rock-solid output in lightweight, easy-to-transport and roadworthy packages that will satisfy working musicians – and stand the test of time."

Pricing and Availability:

Street prices for the KM1700 and KM750 are $199.99 and $149.99, respectively.  Both amplifiers will soon be available in stores and online.
