Slate Digital has announce FG-Stress, an official plug-in recreation of the Empirical Labs Distressor.

A spokesperson told us, "The Distressor is one of the most iconic studio compressors in the pro audio business. When it was first introduced in the 90's it was one of the most innovative concepts the industry had ever seen: a hardware compressor that could sound like a pile of other classic dynamic processors, while retaining its own musical character at the same time. Slate Digital worked hard to ensure that every single detail of the original was perfectly recreated, from the subtle harmonic tones and precise timing characteristics to Opto and Nuke mode."

Pricing and Availability:
FG-Stress will be available in the Slate Digital Everything Bundle for $14.99/month.
