Expert Sleepers were one of the first companies to fully realise the potential of sending CV out from the DAW audio interfaces - the ones which offered the DC coupled outputs - that allows for CV to be sent over audio for controlling the modular and other analog synths.
As well as their excellent A Silent Way software, and ES3 interfaces, they also have the multi-function Disting module - which is now at MKIII. There are some new finctions for this, includung the WAV sample playback from SD card, and a vocoder function.
Os shows us those features and also a sneak look at a new USB audio interface prototype he's brought along, this means there is no need for an additional audio interface between the computer or iOS device to drive the modular CV. With 4 inputs and 8 outputs in analog, plus an ADAT io, it can really open up the possibilities for controlling analog gear, even directly from iOS devices.
Exciting stuff.
Expected to be available later in the Summer.
